• Website Content & History: Sidenote accesses the URL and title of the active tab solely to anchor your notes to the specific webpage you are visiting. This allows your notes to reappear automatically when you return to that page.
• User-Input Text: The notes you type are collected only to provide the core functionality of the extension.
• No Personal Information: We do NOT collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All your notes and settings are stored locally within your browser using Chrome's storage API.
• No Third-Party Sharing: We do NOT sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your data is never used for advertising, credit scoring, or any purpose unrelated to the extension's core functionality.

4. Remote Code Sidenote does not use or execute any remote code. All scripts and assets are bundled locally within the extension package to ensure maximum security and privacy.

5. Your Choices You can view, edit, or delete your notes at any time through the Sidenote sidebar. Uninstalling the extension will remove all locally stored data.
